I am really happy that you survived the stunt by Knut Arild Hareide; a pure attempt by the charmer and the Christian sceptic, Jonas Gahr Støre, at couping the Kristelig Folkeparti (the Public’s Christian Party). Here I will, however, remark on far greater issues.

First, Emmanuel Macron, the French President, a self-declared head of the globalists now that the voters in Germany have seen to it that Angela Merkel hardly is capable of pulling the German EU project any further. He is busily preoccupied with his charm offensives within the EU – howbeit most often in vain. Lately, they were directed toward the Eastern European countries.

However, when Macron further calls for punishing the European countries that do not stand in solidarity with his own project of mass immigration, he not only is solidly French elitist arrogant, but completely barking up the wrong tree. No wonder that his popularity at home is extremely low.

Even though Merkel got severely beaten in recent elections and hangs in the ropes, she has not completely given in. The other day she proposed, in Poland of all places possible, hers and the United Nation’s Marrakech proposition on immigration to Europe. As a camouflage for the Polish Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiescki, she ventured that the treaty is of course not binding.

Hardly anyone takes that bait, as little as the USA, Australia, Austria, Croatia and Hungary will sign the so-called «Global Compact for Migration». However, it is said that you, Erna, will sign it in December. And then, we have to seriously confront you; contrary to the Acer issue, in which you subjugated our energy resources to the EU without explaining the reasons for it to us, we, your conservative voters, demand that this time you show all the cards.

Ever more conservatives are really completely perplexed at your seemingly auto pilot heading. If not corrected, we may end up in a Swedish eddy. Bearing the example of Hareide in mind, we now expect statesmanship from you, and not tactical foolishness. It should be unnecessary to remind you of your responsibility, First and foremost Norway.

Instead, vi now wonder what you are really up to. Hareide tried to spin his party into a left turn and fell in the pirouette. Aided by Merkel, the internationalists have fortunately lost much of their anchorage of false goodness in Europe. Now it is time for a steady conservatism. Why then, does Høyre hesitate? Now you must set sail for the downwind which raises to a gale in Europe.

Furthermore, and excuse me, how can Høyre be represented by a Minister of Foreign Affairs who seemingly combines lack of understanding and fear of silence and consequently tends to fill any felt void with jabbering matters of course? We are extremely few on the right wing who understand that.

She must have realised that Norway is a small oil presumptious country, unnecessarily destroying itself by having an opinion on everything instead of diplomatically keeping the mouth shut when our contribution is neither wanted nor necessary? Or is it in fact you, Erna, who do not see that little Norway needs friends, the right ones at that; and most importantly, as few as possible enemies in the international arena?

My father used to say that one enemy does more harm than ten friends do good, and he was probably right. Why then, do we interfere with internal American political affairs? Toward the Clinton clan, Norway coupled its changes with the corrupt Saudi-Arabia and contributed with about 600 million Nkr. For what?

Børge Brende handled this miserably. Such a national megalomania serves absolutely no one, especially when dark skies are looming above the relationship between the superpowers. Political retreat is now appropriate to a Norway practically lacking military defense. And if anyone is to know that, it should be a former Minister of Defense …

Instead, several domestic conservative leading issues should be addressed, including lessened financial party power and drastically reduced subsidies to a far too one-sided press. Norway must be made into a more democratic, more honest country, in which problems are openly addressed instead of being neglected. In this area, the national media and their contributors have long utterly failed.

Immigration and energy politics are just two examples of our letting the split Europe invade our domestic politics with unnecessary problems. It is a paradox that Norway, reluctantly coaxed into the EU and with no right to vote, is supposed to be the most obedient boy in class, while for exampple the Prime Minister of Hungary, Victor Orban, recently stood up against the whole EU Parliament.

This country is in need of leadership, and its citizens need protection. This is the first and foremoIllustration photo. If we still want to.
