The cutting in the government budget of the support to Human Rights Service will not be reversed, according to the Minister of Knowledge, Jan Tore Sanner (H).

The leader of Fremskrittspartiet and Minister of Finance has earlier stated that the cut of 500.000 Nkr would be corrected during the budget proposal; however, Høyre’s cabinet minister Sanner writes on Twitter Monday night that it will not happen.

Instead, the money will be collected in connection with the 2018 «account», according to the Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang.

The Minister of Knowledge and integration, Sanner, at the same time announces that the item is transferred to the Ministry of Justice during the preparation of the revised national budget. According to VG, it implies that the transfer will be discussed with KrF and Venstre next year.

The Minister from Høyre has not responded to the enquiry from VG after publishing the notion on Twitter.
